Fanatik report Fenerbahce are showing strong interest in signing Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas and the club’s sporting director Damien Comolli has already held talks with the Spaniard’s agent Darren Dein.
The 31 year old has lost his place in the team under Maurizio Sarri and may be looking for a new club as early as January.
According to Fanatik, Darren Dein’s father David Dein is also a great friend of Fenerbahce president Ali Koc and sporting director Comolli. David Dein recently travelled to Istanbul to watch Fenerbahce, report the Turkish media outlet.
During the meeting between Comolli and Fabregas’ agent, the Frenchman revealed Fener’s interest in signing Fabregas and that they want to hold further discussions over a possible transfer.
It’s also claimed Fabregas is also wanted by AC Milan, but the Turkish media believe Fenerbahce have a decent chance of landing the Chelsea player.
This season Fabregas has made 9 appearances for Chelsea but is yet to start a game for London side in the Premier League, playing just 48 minutes of football in the competition.
