After scoring two goals against Iceland yesterday, Leicester City attacker Ahmed Musa is the man of the moment in Nigeria.
Musa spoke after the game and it’s reported by Fanatik he said he would love to return CSKA Moscow if given the opportunity. The forward spent the second half of last season on loan with the Russian side.
Fanatik today report Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim is on red alert after Musa’s comments, and the 63 year old has spoken with the club’s vice president Abdurrahim Albayrak about the situation with the Leicester City player.
During these talks, Fanatik report Terim has told Albayrak to sign Musa as soon as possible. Terim is reportedly afraid of losing the player after his performance against Iceland, and he’s urged Galatasaray board to get the deal as quickly as possible.
Earlier this week we covered reports that Galatasaray have offered £1m to Leicester City to loan Musa for the season and that the Nigeria international has agreed a move in principle with the Turkish giants.
Given the goals and the player’s new star status, Leicester City themselves are probably eyeing a better deal.
