RB Salzburg star Karim Adeyemi is ‘on the radar’ at Liverpool following his impressive displays in Austria and a recent call-up for Germany.
Adeyemi is currently one of the stars of the show in the Austrian Bundesliga, having joined RB Salzburg from SpVgg Unterhaching U19 in December 2019.
After a successful loan spell with 2.Bundesliga side FC Liefering last season, he is now starring in Salzburg and has racked up 17 goals and 16 assists in 59 games in all competitions for the club, a tally which has not gone unnoticed around Europe.
He is already reportedly on the shortlist at several top clubs, with Liverpool and Arsenal having been named as suitors on several occasions, while Chelsea were keen before he moved to Austria.
He’s now broken into the international set up too, recently earning his Germany debut with an 18-minute appearance in the 6-0 win over Armenia in their World Cup qualifier.
That’s only earned him more attention, say BILD, who say, Liverpool, Barcelona, and Bayern have the forward ‘on their radar’.
Now there’s no mention of any of those clubs making any sort of moves at this point, just that they’re keeping an eye on the youngster.
If he continues to impress, we’re sure that’ll change, and Liverpool do have a habit of taking strikers from Salzburg, as proven by their move for Takumi Minamino.
Of course, they’re likely going to need to move quickly, with big competition already eyeing Adeyemi up.
