Venezuelan forward Adalberto Peñaranda for Watford from Udinese in January for £9m, and spent the last six months on loan at Granada.

Recently, Spanish website Diario Gol, reported Peñaranda wants to continue his development in Spain, and isn’t keen on going to the Premier League yet.

It was reported Barcelona are interested in signing him, and the player has also been offered to several La Liga clubs.

Today, Diario Gol seem to have an update on Peñaranda.  The Spanish website suggest Real Madrid could also be interested in signing him.

Zidane wants to make signings for the future, and believes Peñaranda could set records at Real Madrid in the future.

Diario Gol believe Peñaranda shouldn’t cost Real Madrid too much at this point in time, and it remains to be seen if Watford would consider selling him this summer.

The Premier League side could be tempted by a big money offer, but otherwise he is likely to stay at Watford beyond summer.

We’re not so sure about the lofty claims surrounding Peñaranda at the moment, it sounds more advertorial than editorial.
