Paris-Saint Germain youngster Christopher Nkunku has been speaking to French media outlet Titis du PSG (via Le 10 Sport), and has revealed his disappointment after the departures of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and David Luiz from the club.

The 18-year-old midfielder says he was sad to see Ibrahimovic, now at Manchester United, leave the club: “Zlatan is a very great player, the entire team will miss him. We were sad to see him go, but that’s how it is.”

Nkunku explains that as well as missing the big Swedish striker, he’s also disappointed to see David Luiz leave the club, as he was very close to the youth team at Paris-Saint Germain.

He added: “The departure of David Luiz surprised me a little, since it happened at the last momentI really thought he would stay with us, there was no sign he’d be leaving.

“For my part I was with the U20 team when learned this. When I said goodbye on my return, I was sad because he was actually very close to the youth team. He always gave us great advice.”

PSG are already missing Ibrahimovic, and Manchester United already benefitting. The striker was more than just a player for PSG, and the match against Arsenal on Tuesday night showed just why the Parisians are missing a touch of Zlatan.
