With the 2018-19 season now over for Manchester United, the club can focus on righting some wrongs and bolster their squad to ensure to start the new campaign on a far better note than they ended the current one.

A right-back, a midfielder to replace the departing Ander Herrera and a right-winger should be the club’s priorities in the upcoming transfer window, and fans are hoping all of those issues are addressed in the months to come.

First, however, the Red Devils have reportedly secured a signing for the future, according to iTromsø, relayed by TV2 in Norway, as they prepare the 2020 arrival of Isak Hansen-Aarøen.

According to the local outlet, the 14-year-old has signed a ‘pre-contract’ with Manchester United, but will have to wait 15 months before joining the club.

Unable to sign until he is 16, the young forward should therefore arrive after August 22nd 2020.

Tromsø IL, where he currently plays, will receive 1m Norwegian krone from the deal (around £90k), and there will be no ‘performance based rights’ in the deal.

Hansen-Aarøen is also said to have held trials with Everton and Liverpool before joining his agent, Jim Solbakken, in Manchester to sign his ‘pre-contract’ with the Red Devils.
