Used a bit more often by Brendan Rodgers these days than at the beginning of the season, Dennis Praet earned himself a call-up in Domenico Tedesco’s first Belgium squad.
He may not have played in the 3-0 win over Sweden in the 2024 Euro qualifier last week, but he is there and will get a chance to show the manager what he can do.
Unfortunately for the midfielder, however, he also looks set to miss the next game because of a small injury, as revealed by Le Soir.
The outlet explain the Leicester player was the only one missing from the final training session ahead of the game against Germany on Tuesday.
Whether Praet returns in time remains to be seen, but it certainly looks like the 28-year-old will not be able to take part in the fixture.
That means he now has just under a week to recover before Leicester take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday in what could end up being a decisive game this season, with both clubs embroiled in a frustrating relegation battle.
