Crystal Palace’s Yéremy Pino has already been winning fans since his move from Villarreal in the summer. Despite being just 22-years-of-age he’s quickly shown he has a place in Oliver Glasner’s team.
Not just that, he’s ready to make a Premier League impact now. It won’t be a case of waiting for a longer term output.
Pino has also managed to impress Spain manager Luis de la Fuente, and has been called up for the current international break. The Crystal Palace youngster played against Georgia on Saturday and managed to find the back of the net.
Spain won the World Cup qualifier 2-0, and Pino spoke to the media after the game.
Barcelona’s Pedri once again put in a good performance and Pino told La Voz de Galicia his teammate is “world class”.
Pino also said it’s a “pleasure” to play alongside him. He added: “We all contribute, we’ve got the mechanisms down pat, and whoever comes out, performs. “I feel privileged to be in this group, which is European champion and a World Cup contender.”
The Crystal Palace player was particularly pleased to find the back of the net, his first goal of the season: “I needed the goal because I haven’t found the net in several matches. I’m very happy.”
Hopefully that goalscoring form can help Glasner and his side.
