Olivier Ntcham’s stoppage time goal helped Celtic come from behind to beat Lazio in the Europa League last Thursday.

The Bhoys’ latest victory in the European competition has helped them seal a berth in the knockout stage with two games to spare.

Neil Lennon’s side are unbeaten in the Europa League, having won three of their four matches, and Kristoffer Ajer has played the full 90 minutes in all of those ties for the Scottish champions.

The 21-year-old has once again made it to the Norway squad for the upcoming international fixtures and when speaking to the local media, he expressed his delight after Celtic made it to the round of 32.

“It’s probably the biggest thing I’ve been to. Qualifying there and moving on to the next round was completely unexpected,” the defender told Norway’s TV2.

Thousands of Celtic fans made the trip to Italy to watch their team face Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico and Ajer heaped praise on his side’s travelling fans.

“Winning there [at Lazio] with 9000 Celtic supporters behind the goal was absolutely crazy,” he explained.

“We have the world’s best supporters, who travel around and support us anyway. Obviously, having qualified from the group stage is an insanely great achievement for us, and now we must continue to perform well.”

Celtic will now hope they can get beyond the next round, and then the excitement can really get out of control.
