West Ham United and Everton interest in Boulaye Dia is today highlighted in the Italian media.

The striker, who belongs to Villarreal, is currently having a loan spell at Salernitana. And following his first few months at the Serie A club, it seems clear that they’ll trigger the buying option to keep him.

As reported by Tutto Salernitana, ‘barring twists and turns’, they’ll acquire him for €12m. That will also work for them not to ‘run any kind of risk’, since there are other clubs interested.

West Ham are among them, along with Everton. The difference between Hammers and Toffees is that in the headline, the website close to the Serie A club, who make clear this is their own information, claim there’s an ‘offer’ from the London side.

It’s just not yet clear how much West Ham are bidding for the player, although it’s said that Salernitana would not let him go for less than €20m.

In his first appearances for the Italian club, he already had six goals and two assists so far. The 26-year-old has even scored a goal in the World Cup, having a part in Senegal’s 3-1 win over Qatar.
