Wolverhampton Wanderers are one of the clubs who get a mention in France Football’s transfer special this Monday.

Nuno Espírito Santo’s side ‘tried an approach’ to sign Morgan Sanson from Olympique Marseille back in the January window.

France Football claims that the player should be disputed by more English sides this summer, after having a very good season in Ligue 1.

Although the 24-year-old could be seen as a good prospect for the future of Marseille, his success also comes at a time the club need to make sales, so they should take the opportunity.

France Football doesn’t say if Wolves would be going back for the player this summer, and in case they do, the outlet sounds sure that there would be some competition from the Premier League this time.

Recent claims from France have been saying that Wolves are keen on offering €40m for Sanson, whilst that didn’t sound right, and was denied by all involved, the club’s interest has been reliably reported more than once.
