Emmanuel Agbadou’s move from Wolves to Beşiktaş is now in the final stages.
That’s according to Sabah. They report that Beşiktaş have formally submitted a loan offer to Wolves totalling €14m. This includes the loan fee and a mandatory purchase clause.
The initial offer to Wolves included those fees being paid over eight instalments. Wolves believe this to be too long and have requested a revision to the offer. They’re now in negotiations with Beşiktaş to work out the ideal payment plan.
The Turkish side’s push to get the defender from Wolves has been confirmed by Beşiktaş Club President Serdal Adalı.
He held a press conference, fielding questions regarding current issues at the club. This included their transfer business this month.
Like last year, it appears the Turkish side will be doing their business late on in the window. He confirmed that talks are underway with Wolves regarding their defender.
“I estimate that we will reach a conclusion regarding the players we are working on within a week,” beIN Sports reporting him saying.
“Transfers take some time. Making transfers in the winter transfer window is costly. We will make transfers paying attention to these factors.
“We made an offer to Emmanuel Agbadou, and we are waiting. The player wants to come. We are talking to his club. When his club says ‘okay,’ it could be finalised in an hour or a week.”
Wolves transfer getting closer to happening
Beşiktaş move for Agbadou has been building since last month. He’s seemingly keen on leaving Molineux and has already agreed personal terms with Beşiktaş to do so.
Indeed, a report yesterday saw his agent landing at Istanbul airport to continue negotiations with the Turkish side. There is a general confidence that the deal will be agreed, with just payment terms seemingly left to sort out with Wolves.
