We all know that since failing to join Wolverhampton Wanderers last summer, Boulaye Dia has been through a complicated time at Salernitana.
The striker has rebelled against the club, and earlier today we even covered claims from Italy which said his days there are ‘over’, as he’s set to leave on a cheap deal.
The situation is only getting worse, and Salernitana News now shares a piece which could even encourage Wolves and any ideas of a bargain deal.
Since Dia refused to enter the pitch in a match earlier this month, it’s now claimed that the club are going against him via the Arbitration Board, accusing him of a ‘serious breach of contract’.
The attacker had already been criticised for allegedly simulating an injury to avoid training just days before the transfer window, so that makes the situation look bad for him now. The intention is to cut out half of his salary until June.
Salernitana News point out the ‘tug of war’ there has been between club and player, who remains sidelined in Italy. So in case Wolves are still interested, this is certainly a good time to ask for a discount, as the Serie A side surely want to get rid of him as soon as possible.
