Reports from Brazil claim that Wolverhampton have received an enquiry from Palmeiras about André’s situation.

The midfielder, who joined Wolves from Fluminense for €22m, remains under contract until 30 June 2029, and the Premier League side reportedly made their stance clear during the talks.

According to journalists Diego Firmino and Felipe Melo, the Brazilian club asked about the player’s availability. Wolves responded that they have no intention of negotiating André at this stage. That position aligns with earlier claims in Brazil that the English club would only consider “absurd” bids for the 24-year-old.

André has been an important figure for Wolves since his arrival. He moved to England after a long pursuit from European clubs, and his profile still fits the midfield demands of the Premier League. Palmeiras, however, continue to track him and treat his signing as a long-standing ambition.

Of course, Wolves’ stance may soften if the club face relegation at the end of the season, and Palmeiras are said to be watching that scenario closely. They know André would only become a realistic target if circumstances shift in their favour.

For now, though, Wolves hold control, and no move is expected unless the situation changes. The next steps will depend on results, timing and how the market shapes up in the coming months.
