Libertad midfielder Enso Gonzalez and Girona’s Santi Bueno are undergoing medicals this afternoon ahead of finalising their moves to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

That’s according to journalist Andrés Rolón and Marca, who both provide positive news regarding Wolves’ move for the pair today.

First there is Gonzalez, who suddenly found himself being targeted by Wolves this week in a transfer that appears to have risen up out of nowhere.

A deal has been rapidly progressing, with it reported earlier today that he was flying to England ahead of undergoing his medical and signing his contract.

Rolón now follows that up and states that Gonzalez will be undergoing his medical with Wolves this afternoon with an official presentation set to take place at some point tomorrow. There is complete confidence the deal will be completed.

Marca, meanwhile, state that Bueno’s move is basically done pending his own medical examination at Molineux.

They state that Wolves and Girona have ‘reached an agreement in principle’ for the defender regarding a deal worth around €12m.

He will begin a new adventure in the Premier League after three impressive campaigns with the Catalan side, who have ‘welcomed the sale’ and money they’re earning from it.

Unlike with Gonzalez there is no indication of when Bueno’s medical will take place but the belief in Spain is that it is booked in and, like the youngster, he will joining Wolves before the transfer deadline this week.
