With Rui Patrício waiting to see whether or not he can get a move to AS Roma, Wolverhampton Wanderers have been scouring Europe for a potential replacement.

On Tuesday, an article from Viola News suggested they had turned their attention to Fiorentina’s Bartlomiej Dragowski; a claim that is now being backed up by La Nazione.

Taking to their print edition, the newspaper explain that, ‘in the last few hours’, Wolves have ‘presented themselves with force’ for the Polish goalkeeper.

In fact, the Premier League side are reportedly ‘ready to bring the offer’ forward of around €12m, which appears to be his ‘purchase price’.

That’s why Fiorentina are themselves looking at people who could come in to take Dragowski’s place should he head to Molineux, with Alessio Cragno and Mattia Perin named by La Nazione.

Before anything happens, however, the Serie A side will sit down with their incoming new manager (following Gennaro Gattuso untimely exit) and assess his desires regarding the squad he will be inheriting.

Dragowski made 36 appearances for Fiorentina last season, conceding 55 goals and keeping eight clean sheets in the league.
