Thursday saw claims come from Spain that Jorgen Strand Larsen would be on his way from Celta Vigo to Wolves, with the potential transfer fee put at around €30m.
That was then followed up with a report from Norway’s Nettavisen, presumably with information from the player’s camp, saying Wolves had reached an agreement in principle with the Spanish club.
It was made clear that at that stage there was no agreement for personal terms, but it would be a shock if he can’t agree terms when moving from the salary structure at Celta Vigo to the Premier League.
Over in Spain, Friday’s edition of AS says everything indicates Jorgen Strand Larsen is moving. They move to dismiss claims in England that the transfer fee will be something like €40m, and say the only certainty is it will be €25m or higher.
Mundo Deportivo report Wolves are accelerating negotiations with the player, which would back up the personal terms point.
It would be a shock if there’s issues in that regard so this looks like one which will be done soon.
The 24-year-old scored 13 La Liga goals last season, playing mainly as a striker.
