Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Saša Kalajdžić suffered two serious injuries since moving to Molineux in August 2022. The first one was on his debut for Wolves and the second was in February 2024, during his loan spell at Eintracht Frankfurt.
The striker has already full fitness and played 23 minutes from two games for Wolves this season. Last month, he said his plan is to continue with the Premier League club, but that now looks unlikely.
On Thursday, Oberösterreichische Nachrichten stated LASK want to sign the Wolves man on loan.
Although the window in the UK has closed, LASK can still carry out signings as the window in Austria is open until Friday. Krone now provide the latest on the Austria international’s return to his home country.
They say LASK are set to pull off a ‘sensational coup’ on deadline day by securing the 28-year-old’s services.
It’s claimed the frontman was spotted in Linz and he’s expected to undergo medical tests with LASK. The newspaper makes it clear this is their own information.
LASK could only sign Kalajdžić on loan if Vítor Pereira’s side were to cover large part of his salary. This could have been sorted out, considering he has already travelled to Austria.
