ESPN in Brazil have added further details to the loan move which took Pedro Lima from Wolverhampton Wanderers to FC Porto on deadline day.

While Wolves confirmed the 19-year-old’s temporary switch for the 2025/26 campaign, the Brazilian outlet reported that the agreement does not include a purchase option. Porto will have the player for one season only, unless the clubs revisit the situation next summer.

It is also claimed that, despite joining Porto’s first-team training group, Lima is expected to feature primarily for the B side at the start of his stay in Portugal.

Finally, ESPN reminds that Lima’s move to England last year came at a cost of around €7m (£5.9m) for 70% of his rights, when he was signed from Sport Recife on a five-year deal.

These details help build a clearer picture of how Wolves and Porto are handling the teenager’s development, with both clubs seeing this as a chance for him to gain experience before returning to Molineux.
