Jørgen Strand Larsen has struggled at Wolves so far this season.
The Dane has one goal in the Premier League despite having started 14 games. A lot of that is down to the Midlands club’s own struggles and their inability to create enough chances.
The Wolves star’s situation is now attracting interest from clubs in Europe, after Newcastle United failed to sign him in the summer.
Calciomercato IT report Inter Milan are ‘evaluating’ a surprise move for the 25-year-old. He’s seen as a target for the summer, amidst belief that Wolves’ relegation can help a move.
Strand Larsen’s valuation would likely decline if Rob Edwards’ side go down, but Inter can also attempt an initial loan deal in the summer.
The striker has previously spent a season in Italy, a loan stint with AC Milan U19s’ side in the 2017/18 campaign. The Rossoneri didn’t exercise an option to sign him permanently but the player’s experience in Italy appeals to Inter.
Strand Larsen also scored for Norway in their 4-1 win over Italy weeks ago, which will help his stature.
The Nerazzurri can sell Marcus Thuram or Ange-Yoan Bonny for a capital profit in the summer. This would help them sign the Wolves player, who would occupy a spare space in the side.
