Adama Traore is ‘already a new Barça footballer’, according to Cuatro.

The outlet reports that the winger has successfully passed his medical, and is now ready to confirm his move to the Camp Nou side.

It’s said Barcelona are signing the player from Wolverhampton Wanderers on a six-month loan, and then will have a buying option worth €20m, after beating Tottenham Hotspur in the competition for him.

They claim that Traore ‘has not convinced Bruno Lage’, who accepted the winger’s move out of the Molineux following his 23 appearances and one goal for the club this season.

Regarding Tottenham, it’s reported that they had put £20m on the table, a little less than the £25m demanded by Wolves, but Traore was ‘not convinced’ that they could use him as a winger in Antonio Conte’s formation. So a return to Camp Nou was a ‘more succulent option’ for him.

According to Cuatro, Traore’s arrival means Ousmane Dembele is no longer featuring for the club.

It’s said they already told the Frenchman he ‘will not play another minute’ in case he doesn’t agree to a contract renewal, as his deal expires at the end of the season.
