Wolverhampton Wanderers Sasa Kalajdzic is ‘clear’ with Eintracht Frankfurt and is now waiting for the German side to strike a loan agreement for him.
That’s according to BILD, who back up reports from earlier today that the Austrian is close to leaving Molineux for the Bundesliga.
Kalajdzic has barely featured for Wolves this season after returning from a long-term injury suffered on the first day of last season and thus has been linked with a move away this month as a result.
Reports in Germany and Austria have made it clear that Eintracht Frankfurt are keen on him as they target various loan deals this month to bolster their squad.
They’ve already secured Donny van de Beek from Manchester United and a report earlier today stated that their focus was on getting a deal done.
BILD now back that up and say the Wolves man is the ‘desired player’ for the club to replace Omar Marmoush and is very much seen by those in charge as part of a new look ‘dream’ team for the second half of the season.
That’s why they’re pushing to get a deal over the line, and they’ve already struck an agreement with Kalajdzic, with that part of the negotiations considered ‘clear’.
That just leaves an agreement with Wolves, and the clubs are now negotiating a potential loan contract until the end of the season.
