There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Mario Lemina is desperately trying to push a transfer to Galatasaray.

The 31-year-old has recently been linked with move to his former club, following his recent issues with the Premier League side.

Galatasaray reporter Burhan Can Terzi has informed Haber Sarikirmizi about the latest developments regarding Galatasaray and Lemina and he claims the Wolves player has contacted Cimbom on three occasions with regards to getting a transfer.

The Turkish journalist says the Gabon intentional has told the Istanbul giants that he will cooperate with them to get a move, which is likely related to him being open to a pay cut.

There were reports in Turkey this week that Galatasaray are looking to get a deal done for the Wolves midfielder before the Super Lig transfer window closes on February 11th.

Gala want to bolster their central midfield options in this window and are keen to bring in competition for Gabriel Sara and Lucas Torreira. Lemina is also reportedly eager to sign for the Istanbul side, with uncertainty over his future with Wolves.
