Paris FC want to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Marshall Munetsi in the January transfer window.

That’s according to Foot Mercato. They report that the French side are targeting experienced players to help them avoid a high-pressure end to the season.

They explain that Munetsi is on Paris FC’s list as they’re looking to add experience to avoid a relegation battle. They’re currently 14th in Ligue 1 and five points outside the bottom two.

Munetsi is a player they know well after his five years at Stade de Reims before he joined Wolves in January last year. The belief is that he could help them to strengthen a midfielder which is seen as easy to get at lacking in ‘cohesion’.

Manager Stéphane Gili believes the Wolves man would be the ideal addition for the second half of the season. However, much will depend on negotiations with their counterparts at Molineux.

There is also several other clubs ready to move for the Wolves midfielder. FC Nantes and OGC Nice, who are both around them in the Ligue 1 table, are also looking at the 29-year-old.

He could, therefore, have his choice of clubs to move to in France when the January transfer window opens.
