Wolverhampton Wanderers completed the signing of Emmanuel Agbadou from Stade de Reims from earlier in the winter market.
Wolves have now returned to the Ligue 1 club to sign Marshall Munetsi on deadline day.
That’s according to Foot Mercato, and their title says Wolves have made a ‘crazy offer’ for the 28-year-old.
Within the report, it’s claimed the Premier League club have ‘dropped a big offer’ but there’s no mention of figures.
The Zimbabwe international arrived at Stade de Reims from South African side Orlando Pirates FC in 2019 and has been a regular for the club since then. Munetsi has made 21 appearances in all competitions this season.
Vítor Pereira’s side have been working on improving their midfield in this window and are keen on securing Munetsi’s services.
Foot Mercato state the English club have put a big offer on the table in order to convince Stade de Reims to sanction a move. They add the fee is similar to the one they paid for Agbadou, which is around €20m.
Wolves are in ongoing discussions with Stade de Reims, who could now lose Munetsi before the window closes.
This suggests the English club could succeed in convincing Stade de Reims.
