Wolverhampton Wanderers are today linked to Fiorentina right-back Dodô.
The story comes from Brazil, where outlet Torcedores speaks of the Italian side’s plans for the summer window.
The story claims La Viola are looking for a new right-back who could be a replacement for Dodô, and are going after Genk’s Daniel Muñoz.
Speaking of the Brazilian, it’s said he’s wanted by Premier League clubs, with Wolves among them.
It was just last summer that Fiorentina signed Dodô. They paid €14.5m to buy him from Shakhtar Donetsk, and he had quite a quick adaptation to Serie A, with 46 appearances this season. His good start there is the reason he’d already been linked with a Premier League move in the January window.
There aren’t many details on whether the Italian side would be keen on already entering negotiations for his sale. The player is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €17m, but with a contract running until 2027, it’s likely La Viola would ask for more.
Wolves should also be aware of competition from the Premier League, because according to Torcedores, Newcastle are interested in the 24-year-old.
