Greek website Sdna claim Olympiacos have finally reached an agreement with Wolverhampton Wanderers over the transfer of Daniel Podence and the Portuguese winger will now travel to England to undergo a medical.

We covered reports from the Greek press yesterday which said Wolves are expected to return with an improved bid, and according to Sdna’s latest information the Premier League side have done this.

It’s reported the sides have reached an agreement after their second round of talks and there’s currently just a few small details left before the deal is formalised.

The 24 year old is expected to travel to England before Friday and join his new club, say Sdna, and it’s reported Olympiacos are likely to receive something in the region of €25m initially.

The total cost for Wolves is estimated at €30m.

Podence hasn’t been involved in Olympiacos’ last two games but has made 27 appearances in all competitions for the Greek side this season, scoring 5 goals.
