On Monday we covered claims from Italy of Wolves interest in Dejan Kulusevski.
The 19 year old attacking midfielder is owned by Atalanta and is spending this season on loan at Parma. He’s very flexible in his position, playing roles on the left, right and through the middle during his development.
TMW were pretty outright with their Wolves claims, stating ‘a proposal for 15 million euros will be sent’.
Arsenal have also been watching the player in action, and were said to have made some tentative contact over a potential deal, however, it was presented as Wolves moving ahead.
Despite that, it wasn’t thought €15m would be enough anyway, with Atalanta valuing their player at €25m, and believing that figure could rise if he continues to impress throughout the season.
Things are likely to get even harder for Wolves, with today’s Tuttosport reporting Inter Milan are also keen on the youngster and have been watching him. They’d hope to get a potential price down by including a player of their own in the deal.
Tuttosport describe Kulusevski as the ‘new Milinkovic-Savic’, comparing him to the Lazio star who has at times been valued at over €100m.
It’s not only Tuttosport, FCInterNews has similar claims.
This could be a difficult one for Wolves to pull off.
