Jonathan Ikone’s move to Fiorentina hasn’t been quite as impressive as some expected.
In over 100 appearances, the French winger has scored 12 goals for La Viola and he’s repeatedly faced criticism.
Despite not having made a significant impact for Fiorentina, Ikone could now be Premier League bound.
ViolaNews have reported on the winger’s future, revealing that even though Ikone featured in pre-season friendlies, he is far from being the first choice of manager Raffaele Palladino.
His future is now ‘far’ from the Artemio Franchi and he is likely to leave the club this summer.
Recently, Wolves and Leicester have come forward for Ikone, who has previously been linked with clubs in the Middle East but nothing of note has sprung up.
Both Wolves and Leicester have made enquiries for the former Lille man, as they look to add another wide option to their side.
Leicester recently tied down Kasey McAteer to a new deal and Bobby Reid has arrived this summer. Wolves also have a number of wide options in the side, so it remains to be seen if they actually make a move for the Frenchman or not.
