Earlier in the transfer window, we covered various reports from Italy that Wolves were keen on AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.
SportMediaset initially stated that they had made a €28m bid for the Ivorian and Gazzetta Dello Sport backed up that information and said it was more than €20m.
There was no indication whether AC Milan would accept that fee, but Gazzetta were convinced that a move to the Premier League would make sense.
There’s been little on the potential move in the six days since then, but it appears a move is now on the cards on deadline day.

Sportitalia report that Wolves now have an agreement in place to sign Kessie in a deal worth €25m, with €3m in bonuses on top.
They are, however, yet to agree on personal terms with the midfielder so will have to rush to try and get those completed before today’s deadline of 5pm.
So far Sportitalia are the only ones to report this in Italy, though, with the news not picking up traction elsewhere as of yet, suggesting it may not be as far down the line as Sportitalia are suggesting.
