As you may know, towards the end of the transfer window, all the clubs from Serie A congregate in or around Milan to meet up with agents to try and see what deals can be done.
It’s quite frankly a genius idea and one we fully back Premier League and Championship clubs to think about going forward.
We say this because when an agent is in Milan, it means he’s open for business, and that’s what Gazzetta dello Sport reckon is happening with Rogerio’s and the possibility of a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Over the past month, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have been linked with the Brazilian fullback, currently on loan at Sassuolo from Juventus.
His current side, who can buy him come the end of the season, have made it clear they don’t want to let their asset leave, but the Serie A champions have other ideas should the right offer come in.
Wolves are said to be ‘still attentive’ to the 21-year-old’s situation, who is valued at around €15-16m.
The way this is going, with little movement either side, we doubt anything will happen, but it seems like Wolves are just waiting for the smallest of openings to pounce.
All they need is to hear that door creak a tiny bit, and their foot goes through it, paycheque at the ready.
