As you know, Victor Osimhen will not be playing in Wednesday’s game against Rangers FC in the Champions League.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side received that boost following the Liverpool game, when the Nigeria striker came off with an injury and was then ruled out of the next handful of games.
Napoli could, however, be without another of their regulars on Wednesday, as Calciomercato claim that Hirving Lozano’s chances of making the Rangers game at Ibrox are ‘increasingly at risk’.
That’s despite the Mexican featuring in the 1-0 win over Spezia at the weekend, where he played 33 minutes, but the Italian website, looking at how as present during Napoli’s training session on Monday noticed the forward’s absence.
This, they say, is due to him being out ‘with the flu’, meaning that he will have stayed at home to avoid contaminating the rest of the squad.
Therefore, his lack of training certainly is a cause for worry for Napoli, while Rangers, who welcome the Italian side at Ibrox, might have to deal with one less threat, as Van Bronckhorst puts a plan together to stop their poor run of form.
