It’s never really a surprise when see that Jorginho’s agent is speaking to the Italian media.

Local outlets are always interested in the future of the Chelsea player, since he’s often linked to Serie A sides, regardless of how well he’s been doing for the Blues.

Representative João Santos has now spoken to Radio Marte, where he first talked about how happy the midfielder is to be winning big things for the Premier League side and now competing for Italy in Euro.

“Jorginho is very well, he has won the Europa League and the Champions League and now the goal is to win the Euro. Yesterday he showed serious, proactive football with results,” João Santos told Radio Marte (via 100×100 Napoli).

Then speaking about Jorginho’s future, the agent has this time made it clear that it’s unlikely that the player will leave the Stamford Bridge this summer, even though there’ve been approaches from other sides.

“Obviously he won the Champions League and therefore there are enquiries from the main teams in Europe but in my opinion he will stay at Chelsea next year. Because the next goal is to play the World Cup in Qatar with Italy. And by staying at Chelsea he has great chances of doing so.”

Santos also talked about Thomas Tuchel’s arrival, praising the manager for making such a big turnaround in Chelsea’s season, especially for changing the way the players were being used.

“The coach arrived in January, the team were not doing well. He gave more space not only to him but also to others.”
