Eintracht Frankfurt star Randal Kolo Muani has told L’Equipe that a decision on his future will be made after this season amid reports linking him to Manchester United.
On March 15th, Bild reported the Red Devils are preparing a mega offer of €120m to secure the striker’s services in the summer. It was also stated the German club are ready to let go of him for a fee over €100m.
Later that day, Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg explained the 24-year-old is definitely on Manchester United’s target list for the summer.
A day later, Eintracht Frankfurt head of football, Timmo Hardung, said he has not yet been approached by Erik ten Hag’s side for the France international.
When asked to give his take on the reports stating he will leave the Bundesliga side in the summer, he hinting about wanting a big move: “We talk about it a lot already, but I try to be focused on my club. We continue our performances and we will see this summer. Afterwards, I always dreamed of playing in big clubs.”
He’s managed 16 goals and 14 assists from 35 games in all competitions. This has seen the attacker become one of the most coveted players in Europe, which is something he didn’t expect to happen.
“No. I thought I was going to need some time to adapt, maybe a year. But everything exploded. Either way, I’m ready for any challenge,” Randal Kolo Muani explained.
The Frenchman also stressed he gives a lot of importance to statistics.
“A lot. I ask the club to get me my statistics on my matches each time. I share this with my physical trainer to know what to improve. I do a lot of goals and assists, but it’s not at the level where I should be. I still miss quite a bit. This is only my third (full) season as a pro,” he stressed.
