Tottenham Hotspur are ‘serious’ about signing Fiorentina star Dušan Vlahović, according to Calciomercato.it.

The striker has refused to extend his current contract that expires in 2023. Therefore, ‘it will be goodbye’ to the Serie A side, either in the winter market or next summer.

After shining for La Viola last campaign, the 21-year-old has extended his fine form this season, managing 10 goals and an assist in 12 matches.

Juventus are also showing interest in the Serbia international. Fiorentina chairman Rocco Commisso prefers to sell his star, for at least €60m, aboard, preferably to a club in the Premier League, who will have better financial resources than the Old Lady.

Spurs appointed Antonio Conte as their new manager and the report states his arrival in London has improved Tottenham’s odds to sign the Serbian.

It’s claimed the former Chelsea boss is ‘serious’ about the attacker and he, along with Fabio Parartici, could ‘push for the purchase’ of Vlahović.

Spurs’ interest and the stance maintained by Commisso may not come as good news for Juventus.
