On Wednesday, we covered a story from Brazil stating that Crystal Palace, Everton and West Ham were all interested in Gabriel Barbosa, currently at Santos on loan from Inter.

The striker has been in great form for the Brazilian side, having scored 17 goals in 37 appearances, 16 of which have come in the league, making him the competition’s most prolific player.

For Inter, this is great news, as this would be the perfect time to sell him, since he won’t enter their plans following the purchase of Lautaro Martinez, and the Premier League is reportedly his priority.

On Thursday, TuttoMercatoWeb claim the Hammers are the latest to have taken a step forward in the dossier, after Crystal Palace’s attempt a couple of weeks ago.

The Italian website explain the player’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, recently met with some of West Ham’s executives regarding Gabriel Barbosa.

None of the details have filtered as of yet, but knowing how this works, it probably won’t be long before they do.
