West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are both monitoring Lens defender Kevin Danso, who has been handed an ‘exit voucher’ by the French side this summer.
That’s according to Foot Mercato, who say the Premier League duo are ‘closely monitoring the situation’ around the defender.
They explain that Danso has suitors around Europe at this moment in time, with Atalanta and Napoli in Italy the most interested to date.
The defender has long been linked with a potential move away after an impressive 2022-23 and solid performances again last season. He demonstrated his qualities during Euro 2024 too and that’s led to interest in him.
There are plenty of interested parties including West Ham and Wolves, who are both ‘closely monitoring the situation’ around the defender ahead of a potential move.
Wolves need to find a defender after selling Max Kilman to West Ham, while the Hammers seem keen to add to their central defensive options despite already having four on their books.
Both sides will have to dig deep into their pockets to get a deal done as Lens won’t sell Danso for cheap and want at least €25m to sanction his exit.
