West Ham United have joined a host of clubs in the race for Shakhtar Donetsk’s Georgiy Sudakov, according to Tutto Juve.
The 21-year-old joined the Ukrainian club’s academy in 2017 and was promoted to their first team in 2020. Operating mainly as an attacking midfielder and at times in the middle of the pitch, he has scored 13 goals and registered 13 assists from 81 games.
It’s said the Hammers want to sign the young star, but they and the Serie A side aren’t the only clubs chasing him.
The report states Barcelona, Bayern Munich and a few other Premier League sides are also in the mix.
Despite this, the Old Lady seem to be wary about David Moyes’ side as they ‘want to steal’ the Ukraine international from them. To do that, the report states the English club could potentially offer a fee around €35m.
Sudakov has a deal until 2028, but it’s not clear if the reported €35m fee would be enough to convince Shakhtar to part ways with him.
