Earlier this month, we covered claims from the Turkish press that West Ham United have set their sights on Galatasaray’s Wilfried Zaha and are serious about him.

Last week Takvim stated the Hammers have held talks with the winger’s agent over a possible deal in the summer window.

The Turkish media continue to name West Ham as an interested party as Fotomaç brings the latest on this case.

It’s claimed the former Crystal Palace star ‘has been in talks’ with the Premier League side ‘for a while’.

The Ivory Coast international arrived at the Istanbul club on a free transfer last summer. He had a good start to the season, before being overlooked by manager Okan Buruk in the last two months, making only five appearances.

Therefore, Zaha is ‘expected to part ways’ with the Turkish club and return to England, with West Ham interested in securing his services in the next window.

West Ham would face competition from Saudi Arabia and Fotomaç say Galatasaray, who aim to collect €10m for Zaha, have shifted their focus on potential offers from the Middle East.

Zaha favours a return to the Premier League while Galatasaray are hoping to sell him to a Saudi club.
