Radio Sport24 claim West Ham United have made a €10m bid to sign Olympiacos attacking midfielder Kostas Fortounis.

Sdna have covered these claims made by the Greek radio station after reports West Ham sporting director Mario Husillos has identified the Greek international as a target and that he’s hoping to sign the 27 year old this summer.

Husillos worked with Olympiacos during the 2016/17 season before joining Spanish club Malaga and then West Ham. The Greek giants reportedly haven’t made a decision whether to accept this offer from England.

Fortounis has been in impressive form for his club this season despite his side coming second to PAOK in the Greek Super League. He’s scored 12 goals and made 9 assists in 28 league appearances in this campaign.

He’s under contract at the Karaiskakis Stadium until June 2020 but previous reports from the Greek media stated he’s been in talks with Olympiacos about a contract extension.

With any extension, the club are under pressure to sell, rather than risk losing their player for nothing.
