West Ham United sacked Manuel Pellegrini and appointed David Moyes as his successor on December 29th.

The Hammers were 17th in the league when they showed the exit door to the Chilean and things haven’t improved under the former Manchester United boss.

They’ve managed only two wins in nine league matches under Moyes and are now 16th in the table with 27 points, level on points with AFC Bournemouth, who are 18th.

According to Calciomercato, West Ham have Hellas Verona manager Ivan Jurić in mind. The English club are said to have made ‘contact’ with the Croatian to be their next manager.

It’s claimed Jurić has been a ‘revelation’ in the Serie A and is liked ‘very much’ in the Premier League. Verona are eighth in the league table, one point behind AC Milan, who are in the seventh spot.

West Ham’s timing intentions aren’t clear and there’s always the possibility this is an effort from people close to the manager to up his profile.
