Last week, we looked at claims from France that Juventus had agreed personal terms with Nice’s Jean Clean-Todibo, but that West Ham weren’t going away.
RMC had reported some days ago that the Hammers were advancing in their move for Todibo, despite Juventus having agreed personal terms with him. Nice were going to pocket more from a sale to West Ham than with a sale to Juventus.
The former Barcelona man will now get his way. Sky Italia have reported overnight that Todibo has decided to reject West Ham despite the London club being one of the ‘most interested’ parties for the 24-year-old.
It seems as Todibo clearly prefers a move to Juventus, who are keen to keep pushing and initially want to land the centre-back on a loan deal with the option to buy.
The claims from France some days ago had also pointed out the fact that West Ham wasn’t the most tempting option for Todibo and after the Sky Italia report their pursuit of the player might well be over.
