Aaron Ramsey has managed 106 minutes of football for Juventus so far this season, spread over four matches.

The reasons behind the Welshman’s lack of action in Turin are split between slection choices and fitness issues, as has been the case since the player arrived in Italy.

Leaving Arsenal as a free agent, after the Gunners withdrew their renewal offer, Ramsey was handed big bucks by Juventus. Since then, it’s felt like the club have been looking for a sale.

West Ham are one of the sides to have been linked the most, and Calciomercato bring the Hammers forward again.

In a Friday report, they say West Ham and Everton have made tentative contact, presumably trying to find out the conditions of a move.

Juventus are keen, wanting to get the player’s €7m, a figure almost certainly after tax, wages off their accounts. Whereas there’d once be talk of a transfer fee around €20m, it’s now clear clubs like West Ham wouldn’t have to spend anything like that, indeed a free exit could be a possibility.

A January move is what the Italian club would desire.
