If he does leave, Le10 Sport in France believe the likely man to be coming in to replace him is Anthony Modeste, currently with FC Köln in Germany, with West Ham’s interest being described as ‘serious’.
The target man, who could also easily be a rotation option for Andy Carroll, had a good season with the Bundesliga side in 2015-16, scoring 18 goals in 38 appearances in all comeptition, as well as helping out with three assists.
Le10 Sport also report Beijing Guoan are ready to submit an offer very soon for the 28-year-old, meaning West Ham might need to move quickly if they are to land Modeste.
