Even West Ham United are now being dragged into the João Félix race.

As the Benfica youngster attracts interest from several European sides, website Calcio Mercato lists today some of the clubs who have been chasing the attacker.

The Italian outlet mostly focuses on the interest from Juventus and Milan, but claims that Bayern Munich, West Ham, Monaco, Paris Saint Germain, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund are all included in the list.

Describing João Felix’s qualities, Calcio Mercato claims that the Portuguese talent could be compared to Rui Costa, or to take a more recent player they also mention Bernardo Silva.

Interestingly, Calcio Mercato claim that in a meeting with Jorge Mendes, Juventus were offered the chance to make a ‘high investment’ of between €30m and €40m.

This is strange as the claims from Portugal which link Felix to Juventus and Manchester United all say the clubs would have to trigger the €120m release clause to get the player.

So someone is terribly wrong, and for West Ham fans to take this rumour seriously, it’s better if Felix really costs €30-40m.
