Earlier today, we covered a story from Italian newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport regarding West Ham United’s chase for Matías Soulé.
It was claimed that the Hammers will be in touch with his agent in the coming days, and could soon advance for his signing.
Well, that was not the only source in Italy talking about West Ham’s pursuit, as Corriere dello Sport also has something to say.
They write that following Soulé’s loan spell at Frosinone, Juventus want to ‘cash in’ with his sale, and can see some ‘fertile ground’ in the Premier League.
West Ham are said to be ‘serious’ about the Argentine ‘baby’, given the potential he’s shown this season.
The Hammers are not alone in the race, though, as it’s said that AS Roma are also following the developments.
Playing for Frosinone this season, Soulé had 11 goals and three assists in 39 appearances, and that wasn’t enough to keep the team away from relegation.
The attacker is valued by Transfermarkt at €25m, and Juventus are expected to demand something close to that.
