West Ham United have rejected a €15m offer from Shakhtar Donetsk for Luis Guilherme, with the offer considered low.
That’s according to UOL, who say West Ham showed now interest in the bid from the Ukrainian side after paying €30m to sign the youngster in the summer.
The Brazilian moved to the London Stadium as part of West Ham’s big summer build but has barely featured this season.
He’s been linked with a move away this month as a result, with a potential return to Brazil even suggested. It is Shakhtar Donetsk who have made the first move, though,
According to them UOL they made a €15m offer for Guilherme which was quickly rejected by West Ham. They considered it low given they paid €30m, across a fixed fee and variables, to take the player from Palmeiras in the summer.
The Hammers are open to a negotiation about the 18-year-old as they look to free up funds and PSR space to sign a striker to replace Lukas Füllkrug and Michail Antonio.
Guilherme has managed just five games since joining West Ham in the summer and he’s one of the names on their sale list, but Shakhtar will need to make a considerably better off if he is to end up joining them.
