West Ham’s summer business looks to be getting better on deadline day.
They missed out on Tammy Abraham a couple of days ago after reportedly coming pretty close to landing the Englishman.
The Hammers are now set to improve their midfield options with the arrival of Carlos Soler from Paris Saint-Germain, despite recent doubts that emerged regarding the transfer.
FootMercato report that while it looked like the move was losing momentum and hadn’t progressed, that was because West Ham had to make some financial room to make another signing.
That angle was also covered by Florian Plettenberg yesterday, but FootMercato now claim that the deal has ‘taken off again’ and should go through today.
Fabrice Hawkins also states that the move is about to be ‘finalised’, with Soler set to join the London side on an initial loan with the option to buy.
Benjamin Quarez believes that while the two clubs finalise the terms of the deal, Soler will be flying to London to undergo a medical and complete his end of the move.
