West Ham United will ‘renew the attack’ for Coventry City star Viktor Gyökeres this summer, with him valued at around €17m.
That’s according to A Bola, who say the Hammers are serious competition to Sporting Club de Portugal for the player’s signature.
Gyökeres was again the star of the show for Coventry this season with 21 goals and 10 assists in 46 games in the league as they came within touching distance of reaching the Premier League.
That’s led to plenty of interest in his signature and Sporting Club de Portugal are one of the sides who would like to sign him this summer.
There is also interest in the Premier League and a report from Portugal earlier today made it clear that there were four teams, including West Ham, all chasing him.
A Bola back that up and say that West Ham have ‘emerged’ as a contender in the last few hours and are now ready to ‘renew the attack’ for the player.
There is a growing belief that the Hammers are in the mix for Gyökeres and ready to pay what is needed to get him from Coventry.
