West Ham United are closing in on signing Tottenham Hotspur‘s Manor Solomon this summer.
Since 2024, Tottenham sent the Israel international out on loan to Leeds United, Villarreal and Fiorentina. The latter decided against exercising the €10m purchase option, and he returned to the Premier League side.
On July 27th, his agent confirmed the plan to leave Tottenham permanently this summer. Last week, we relayed news of West Ham’s interest in the forward.
Earlier this week, Solomon’s representative Shlomi Ben Ezra responded to the Hammers links.
He said: “West Ham are a huge club; Yossi Benayoun and Eyal Berkovic were there, too. I think that at 27, he’s already at an age where he has experience, and there’s a consensus about Manor. Many teams like him because he’s a good player and a good person.”
West Ham’s agreement with Tottenham man
According to Sport1 in Israel, the 27-year-old is on his way to the Championship side.
He has finalised terms of an agreement for personal terms with West Ham United. The two clubs have to find an agreement, and the latter should agree terms with Spurs in the coming days.
The operation will see Nuno Espírito Santo’s side spend around €8m, and it’s not clear whether this is including or excluding bonuses.

Sport 5, who have been covering West Ham’s interest and carried out multiple interviews with Manor Solomon’s agent, cover the latest. Their title says he’s ‘on the verge’ of joining another London club.
Tottenham Hotspur, who initially requested €10m, are expected to settle for a lower price. There’s no mention of a figure, and the bonuses will depend on his performances and West Ham’s promotion.

West Ham and Roberto De Zerbi’s side have reached an agreement, and the move should go through in the coming days.
Solomon had several opportunities to stay in the top flight by joining Fiorentina, Hull City and unnamed clubs from Spain and France. He turned down offers from these clubs for Nuno Espírito Santo’s side.
The Hammers had identified Sunderland’s Simon Adingra and others as targets to replace
Crysencio Summerville.
In the end, they are betting on Solomon mainly because of his Championship experience with Leeds United. He managed 10 goals and 12 assists from 39 league appearances for the Whites during the 2024/25 season.
